Turkey Healthy Dog Treats





Ingredients for Turkey Healthy Dog Treats

1 cup chicken broth (canned chicken broth is OK)
1/4 cup canola oil
2 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cup white flour
1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast
1/2 cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons wheat bran
2 tablespoons soy flour
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried parsley



Directions for Wild Turkey Dog Cookie Recipe
Place all the ingredients in your bread maker according to the manufacturer’s instruction.

Set the bread maker to the dough cycle.


When the dough is finished, remove it and divide it into 3 pieces.


Roll each dough ball into a sheet that is ¼” thick.


Using turkey shaped cookie cutters, cut out your turkey cookies and place them on a lightly greased cookie sheet.


Let the cookies rise for about an hour in a warm place. Cover them with a clean dish towel.


Bake the turkey cookies for 1 hour at 300 degrees F.


Turn off the oven and let the cookies continue to dry overnight in the oven.
